Photo 35 – Potluck dinner on a Saturday night

Aditya and I spent most of the day at the office working away on our business plan in preparation for a series of important meetings in the coming days, both in Waterloo and Toronto. Coming into the office at around 1130am and finally going home shortly after 3am.

We took a bit of a break earlier this evening to attend a potluck dinner our friend RCW was throwing at his house. Our contribution? Yoghurt strawberry parfait complete with trail mixed nuts.

Always a pleasure to be surrounded by good food and great company! As always, the food was delicious. Looking forward to the next potluck in March.

Some books came in the mail today courtesy of TED. Definitely looking forward to attending TEDActive in Palm Springs, CA, later this month!

Photo 33 – At the Rotman School in Toronto

I spent most of the day in a series of meetings at the University of Waterloo and at the Treehaus in Kitchener, before making my way to the Rotman School in Toronto.

Fact: I always have a good time whenever I’m in Toronto. Its always great to be surrounded with a group of kickass people who are passionate about the work they do.

I am slowly beginning to convince myself that moving to Toronto may not be such a bad idea after all.

Photo 32 – Home-cooked dinner

Made mango curry chicken with spicy basmati rice & edamame for dinner earlier this evening. Turned out better than I expected! Yum!

Photo 31 – My friend the war hero

My friend and brother Matt and I, have known each other for a number of years now, going back to our days in undergrad at the University of Waterloo, circa 2005.

I have so much respect for Matt, who served several tours of duty in Afghanistan serving his country. If you want an example of a real life super hero, you’re looking at him. Peace and love brother. Really good to catch up with you tonight. Super excited for the next chapter of your life and the great things to come.

Photo 30 – Dusk in Kitchener

It was a busy weekend working away in preparation for an important meeting that took place earlier this morning. The hard work was certainly worth it as we got some great feedback on our startup with a much clearer idea of how to proceed in the coming weeks.

Decided to take the evening off and made my way to the movies to catch the new Liam Neeson movie, The Grey. If ever there was a movie that captured the essence of my nightmares, The Grey would definitely be it.

Photo 29 – Working away at Coffee Culture

Spent most of the day working away at Coffee Culture in uptown Waterloo before moving to our office at the Treehaus in downtown Kitchener.

Later in the evening, I had a series of meetings related to TEDxUW, TEDxWaterloo, TEDActive and TEDxAlAin, leaving me super excited for the months ahead!

Photo 28 – Saturday afternoon at the Treehaus

Powering through a number of writing projects in preparation for a series of important meetings this week. Taking a break by playing around with Higgins who came to visit us earlier this afternoon at our office in the Treehaus.
