Spent most of the day working away at Communitech, waiting on news on whether or not we got into the VeloCity Garage space here in The Tannery. In other news, finally saw The Avengers movie with Chelsea today. This was favorite scene in the entire movie.
I work with some awesome people. Patio season is definitely here now!
It was already dark by the time I left Starbucks earlier this evening. Productive day, while also catching up with an old friend that I hadn’t seen in years.
Although we didn’t make it past the semi-finals for both Canada 3.0 and Launchpad 50K, we learned a lot of lessons along the way. Good practice for pitch competitions in the near future.
Gearing up for the Road to Banff Pitch Competition at Canada 3.0 tomorrow.
Working away on our product website. Currently in getting things done production mode! In between, had a lovely lunch with Cevie today followed by a great Skype conversation with Aaron, a serial entrepreneur from NYC whom I met at TEDActive, and who gave me a lot of great advice on building my company. Thanks!
Thank goodness for the business model canvas! It’s always a good idea to go back to the drawing board every now and then to figure out what the road ahead looks like, what value propositions we’re bringing to the table, and how we’re going to turn this into reality.
The title says it all. And yet, the above picture captures the essence of my day that consisted of back-to-back meetings with a little bit of breathing room in between. Interestingly enough, I still have two more this evening before I can finally call it a night. Good times!
